Teak furniture can be left outdoors uncovered all 12 months of the year, regardless of where you live. if you choose to cover your teak furniture during the winter, then use a material that allows the wood to breathe. If you put your furniture away for the winter, do not store it in a heated room.
Rattan furniture, armchairs and sofas that are beautifully designed with stylish details. Rattan is a species of grass and the world's second fastest growing material for furniture making and a regrowth within 5 to 7 years. Rattan helps preserve the rainforest, as the grass species grows like vines up the trees from the forest floor.

Rattan furniture is not suitable for outdoor use. They should preferably be protected from the elements on a covered patio, in the conservatory, greenhouse or in the orangery and cleaned regularly with a damp cloth. If the furniture is in a dry place, it is important to add moisture to the air so that the furniture does not dry out and, in the worst case, crack.
Bamboo furniture can sometimes look like rattan furniture, however, bamboo is thicker and hollow and usually has a more uneven surface because you don't want to grind away the annual rings of the bamboo leaves. Bamboo is a fast-growing material and is found in large quantities in subtropical areas. Bamboo can grow up to 50m high and in just 1-5 years you can harvest cultivated bamboo. This makes it an environmentally friendly good choice for furniture.

Bamboo is a natural material that needs to be cleaned and maintained. If you place furniture outdoors, you can expect it to turn grey. We recommend cleaning this with soap flakes at least twice a year (eg spring and autumn). During the winter, bamboo furniture must be stored indoors, before winter storage you must wipe the furniture with a slightly moistened cloth and dry before placing the bamboo furniture.

Artificial rattan is popular as never before as it is a particularly durable material consisting of synthetic fibers that are braided in different ways, giving the garden furniture a stylish and lively look. It is not recommended to wrap the furniture in tarpaulins or the like. As this can create condensation and thus the risk of the furniture rotting.
